I'm overdue now for a 2015 frame from an lbs. I ordered early July and paid a deposit for early sept delivery but having passed the latest arrival date of last week, he shop is now being a bit vague so I thought I'd look at ison distributions own site. Bit shocked to see the frame is listed as mid October eta and the relevant shock as December! Pretty gutted as I've sold my old bike and bought a load of new parts ready for the build.
Does anyone have any experience with these eta dates and if they are accurate (or hopefully wildly pessimistic )

I would give Ison a call.
I've had similar conversations with them albeit prior to ordering and they have always been incredibly helpful.
It is frustrating but delays do happen*
* example (a) the Puffin frame that was 6 months late 😆
Sadly the LBS can only go on the dates Ison give them, who in turn can only go on the dates given to them by the brand, so it's hard to find out who's been giving the wrong information.
If the shop is starting to be a bit vague though maybe call Ison in the morning to see if they can shed any light on the situation (EDIT: what he ^ said)? They may only want to deal with your LBS though.
Yes may contact them in the morning. Shop may well have taken the order in good faith I'm sure but equally they haven't flagged up it may be a couple of months later than the original time frame......
Which frame?
It's not really relevant ...in that I'm just looking to get some info about I sons dates before I go back to the shop to sort it out amicably...potentially identifying them here by saying which frame isn't going to help that .....
Ok. I'm aware of some delays in a certain brand that Ison distribute. I was merely asking in case it's the same brand. But don't worry.
Cr@p that doesn't sound positive....might be begging a bike from mates for the big wales trip.
Did you end up giving Ison a ring?
Pretty sure I'm in the same position as you... Pre-ordered in June and was told late August/September for delivery. Spoke to the shop last week, and they said they'd spoken to Ison the week before, who'd told them about 10 days... Haven't heard anything since.
Had all the bits ready to go for what feels like ages now!
