[Closed] IS52/Canyon headset help

My dad has a Canyon Grand Canyon Al from 2015. The headset on it is dead and I'd like to get the bearings replaced.

I've spoken to Canyon on their Web chat and they say it's a ZS44 top, IS52 lower. But when I mentioned that the headset has caged rather than sealed bearings and there's the lip of what looks like a ZS cup in the bottom they were stumped. It's not a rotten cartridge bearing.

I'm only visiting for a few days and would like to fix this for him as there was a lot of play, and tightening it so the play stops makes the steering stiff. Has anyone any idea what headset this might have?
