I nearly bought one of these when they were about £2k, but decided that I couldn't justify the pennies without having a test ride.

But now they are £999... A 76% discount....

I have very limited experience of FS bikes. I bought my missus a 2k5 yeti asr-sl, which she seems to love (although her feedback is generally, it's fine to every bike related question I ask her!) and I rode a Nicolai at Afan last October which resulted in me jumping into a tree.

It looks like such a good deal, but is it too good to be true?!?!?!

Rickety mountain now back up to £1600 🙁

Maybe the OP swooped in 6 months ago and got one for a grand.

Is £2000 reduced to £1000 not a 50% discount (rather than 76%) ??

Would need to be over £4100 to be £999 after 76% discount.

Although it was 6 months ago. So maybe it dropped more, and it actually is a 76% discount now

Haha,

This is OLD! Bish - You are a bit slow on the uptake mate!

I Didn't get it, I think the frame was originally up around the £4k mark before CRC got hold of it.

Still contemplating something similar though.
