It says only 2 images and animations, so looks like a skull & crossbones and flames are the images with the real time speed being one of the animations?
Looks like it will add some weight but would be more fun if you could compose your own image. The speed thing is pretty cool but pretty useless and as you can't see it yourself.

Hmm..wonder how it calculates speed? Badly, presumably, unless you can enter your wheel size somehow.
