No the one I saw was Dave@cyclesense - I knew they were "up North" and one of the reviews mentions a grumpy and rude owner! So I just wanted to be sure. Will order

Dave Hinde-Northwich, Cheshire.
Cyclesense-Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.

A couple of counties away from each other I think you will be ok.

My experience with Cyclesense was fantastic, couldn't have been more helpful & couldn't have made any money out of the sale because of the upgrades and free fitting they threw in (To the extent I had to check they had got it right).

I've only ever found it small minded rather than physically small 😈

Nope, my local bike shop in Tadcaster and they're brilliant.

There are a fair few Dave's in the UK, I'm betting there are also quite a few work in bike shops too.

Edit: They've never been grumpy or rude either. Sometimes really busy so you might not always get a long chat but the advice has always been good.

A brilliant bike shop.

I use this over my local shops in York who don't seem to understand the basics of good customer service.

Fulford in York are pretty good too I fine.

Cyclesense though - I bought the first Follow-me-tandem they ever sold. I was in asking about options for towing a child's bike and after much head scratching they said you know we saw something the other week. They ordered it in specially and we opened it up in the shop to look at when it arrived.

I think they are the importer now.

They have two shops in Tadcaster - the children's shop and the grown up's shop.

All Daves are related and are jointly and severally responsible for each others words, actions, crimes and debts. Like the Borg. Dave Hockney owes me a fiver but I'm legally entitled to to claim that fiver from any other Dave who happens to be nearby whenever I'm short of spendies.
