Have a chat to karas in lancs. They could probably do it under their phosphate and oils finish..they can do mosy custom anodising. Failing that talk to some of the smallet anodisers that do small scale stuff as the actual techique isnt difficult..

I think you might be after aurora/neo chrome plating

as per jeffcapeshop, that's a steel frame you've posted a picture of so it's not anodising.

You can get the same finish on aluminium.

The paintball guns at the top of this link are all machined aluminium 🙂

Nickel PVD – Physical Vapor Desposition
apparently, it's what they call the finish on this bike anyway

I think it looks great.

Reminds me of the 80's..

Do it & I reckon you'll regret it firstly, secondly I doubt you'll find anyone to buy it off you!

I like it, but it reminds me of lazer raygun toys I had when I was six. That's probably a good thing.

I could recommend having a chat with Chris at http://intrincycle.co.uk/

He has been doing anodizing work and is a sponsor over on Retrobike for a while and his work is very good.

Not sure you ca anodize steel though as above but sure he could advise 🙂

My first thoughts were the same as Jeff's in that the pic you want to recreate looks to be a steel frame and plating process rather than anodizing. The same effect anodizing aluminium just looks cheap and childish IMO. Rather like the steel frame in the original pic too 😀
