I do quite like the look of it though. It could be an evolution of the UK hardtail? 26 inch wheels with big rubber making it a 650b/27.5

Podgy bike?
Is that not just a 26?
I like it 😀

hmm a 26" bike with big tyres -> 650b?
Save your cash you can have both sizes with 1 bike!
Forget angle set head sets just pup a different sized tyre on the front
Flow rims and 2.4 Fat Alberts have a similar effect.
i see they have had to re-evaluate what 'massive tyre clearance' means, using the American adopted "fag paper" standard
Still waiting for 27.5+ ... 29" OD semi fat.
Loads of rotational weight for a kind of, but not fat bike. Looks like when someone puts DH tyres on a trail bike to be more gnar. No ta.
I guess you could call it a moob-bike, not quite fat but carrying a bit extra 😉
yep I can see this in my future.
The surly doesn't look a whole lot different from my Mmmbop with 2.4 rubber on it on my superstar DH rims. A few of the riders in our local group ride similar things based on 456 frames, I don't think changing tyres means you can call it a new wheel size!
It's a combination of big tyres and super-wide rims. I really like the idea and would love to give it a whirl
