hi all, I have some new FIVE TEN kestrel SPD shoes. I tried clip ins and hated it, now I would like to know if I can turn them back into full flat shoes by adding an insert or some thing?

‘Also can I take out the plate underneath? As it slides up / down now and is annoying as hell

thanks

You could get something like these covers, and bolt them on. It should stop the plate from sliding about anyway.

When I changed to flats, I put an ad on here, swapped my Maltese falcons for a pair of Danny Macs.

There's always people looking to try SPD.

How long did you try them for? 1 ride isn't long enough, needs a good half dozen or so...

Yep, I gave flats a whole summer before deciding.
