Where people turn up with a collection of bike bits that they don't need, sell them for cash from a selection of tressle tables, use said cash to buy stuff that other people are selling, and go home with a new collection of bike stuff that they do (or more probably still don't) need?

Manchester Velodrome has hosted various bike jumble events, I've sold stuff at one of them before.

However the velodrome is undergoing extensive repair work at the moment so there won't be anything happening there for a few months...

They have died a death in the last couple years but I hope for some comebacks.

In addition to the Velodrome ones there are / were also monthly ones at Pop Up Bikes M4 4DG...no idea if they still run.

Sheffield had a couple which isn't far if combining with some riding;
The excellent Peaty's bike bonanza was annual and full of modern kit at great prices.
The bike jumble at St Mary's church on Bramhall lane ran twice yearly and was more old stuff but still great with plenty of true bargains.

Have bought and sold at the velodrome in the past - they usually hold one in February/March and there used to be another one later in the year August/September. The spring one can't happen this year due to velodrome works.

Pretty sure the Pop Up Bikes events still run - usually first Saturday of the month. Quick check on Facebook suggests there was one just last weekend...
