As above. Ordering a new frame and it would be nice to have fixing bolts for a top tube bag but I can't work out if there is a standard fixing layout or if it is bag dependent. I would guess it is the same as a bottle cage but is there a 'normal' distance from the steerer?

First of all having a frame bag that bolts on is so much better than straps.
My frame bag (wizard works) is custom made. Clandestine sent the bolt placement measurements to them when they built the bike.

Probably worth talking to frame manufacturer first. Sorry I can't offer more specifics, other than its worth talking to companies and spending the time and £ to sort it

Thanks for that.  I agree it's much nicer with fixing rather than velcro.  I'll just ask the folks making it, they will know

Is the fitting literally just holes in the bag for bottle type bolts? Or something a bit more water proof?
Got a new frame being built and like the idea of bolt on frame bag (internal bag like pic above). less so if it’s just an easy way to let rain in.

Top tube bags - ones that sit behind the stem - use standard bottle cage spacing, I have a Restrap one on my Diverge. If fitting ones inside the triangle, I would go for a similar spacing, so maybe for ^^^ I’d have 2 under top tube and 3 on down tube.

Yes just holes in the bag with some nice washers etc. The contents of mine stay dry in the worst weather and when being jetwashed. Im sure if i tried i could get some water in but as it is its completely weather tight.
