on the 4th of aug i am going for an opp on my leg which mean ill be getting a general anesthetic, but the weekend before is the selkirk merida would it be fine to ride or should i give it a miss

ps i have had pre-opp exam and this was an after thought

i have Tendonitis in my Achilles, its the general anesthetic bit that concerns me

i'd be more worried if you spent the weekend before your op lazing about drinking beer and smoking fags.

If you have tendinitis and it's being operated on, best not to strain it immediately before the operation.

Wrap an elastic band really tightly around your scrotum the night beforehand, and that will keep any "badness" out of your lower leg..
