I can't find a phone number, a web form or an email address to contact them on their web site.

Have I missed something or is the live chat the only way to get some dialogue going?

Well, unsurprisingly some might say, I am not entirely happy with my order and conveniently you can't email them....

They seem active on their incessant, irritating FB promos.

Had the same issue a few months ago when i received a bike id ordered for my son, spec received was different to the one advertised, plus paint damage which wasn't mentioned anywhere ! ... i did ask the same question on here as well, but thankfully Brant popped up and i sorted it through him. Good luck sorting it

Stumpy, sounds a similar issue to what I have.... let's just say I think the photo of the item was a little misleading....

Yeah the pictures never seem to be of the actual bikes do they. Often I’ll look at their specials, mainly road, and you’ll se a nicely specced bike with posh wheels etc, the spec is different. Some of the images do carry the rider but it’s a bit poor form. You’ll probably find the spec is as per the listing.

Anyway, Brant, Brant, Brant normally does the trick... 👍🏻

Brant has been conspicuous by his absence from any PX related posts for at least two months.
Unless he's part of Uncle Dave's employee ownership scheme for PX I don't see what's in it for him.
Then add in their new design man.....
Looks like Brant is fully focussed on troosers etc; he's got a share in that business.
As for contacting PX, their twitter page has been silent since early December but they're still posting on FB.
Snail mail?

For balance, live chat recently prior to a purchase they were good at clarifying the rubbish details on the site.

Once ordered online, they sent me the wrong frame but all sorted quickly by live chat, frame picked up and correct despatched.

Also I gave feedback that a 15mm seatcollar was only 10mm high (collar advised for frame, didn’t cover bare carbon) and they processed a refund without me asking...

Cheap carbon road frame, paint is good enough. cut back where facing has been done but at a bargain price so can’t complain (and Sod’s law I’ll just chip it on building anyway!)

I've had to use the chat function recently and have no complaints about it, the issues were resolved quickly and from a consumer point of view I find them no worse than anyone else.

+1 no issue with the live chat thing, sorted a change of heart I had, cancelled an order, credit in my account a few days later, all within a few minutes.

Pretty much this.

Had a few issues over the years but all have been sorted out as quick as you could reasonably expect.

Used the live chat a few times, it's a simple system but it does work.

Yeah the pictures never seem to be of the actual bikes do they. Often I’ll look at their specials, mainly road, and you’ll se a nicely specced bike with posh wheels etc, the spec is different. To be fair it's almost as frequently the other way too.

I know some shops manage to have photos that change to show the exact size, color and spec of the model you've got selected. But when you're paying £500-£1000 less for a bike than even the cheaper end of mainstream brands somethings got to give. surely expecting people to read the description of a £700+ item before buying it isn't a big assumption? Bikes aren't the sort of thing you just see a photo of and click buy.

It's also usually a nice surprise when they turn up and they look loads better than they did in the web site photos!!

The photo shows frame with seatpost but then at the bottom of the advert it says something vague like "Don't forget your frame essentials and spares to get you up and running".....lists seatpost, seat clamp, headset and then spare mech hanger...... The frame actually came with a seat clamp and a mech hanger, but not a seatpost or headset. Now, I don't need to buy a spare mech hanger but if I had bought all the other items I would have ended up with two seat clamps plus the bits I actually need like seatpost and headset. For a frame that is clearly reliant on a proprietary seatpost, to show it in the product photo but not include one seems rather underhand.

And especially when those two items add near another £100 to the price and so the frame doesn't seem such a bargain after all.
