Want a new camelbak as my current 3 litre one is too big for my needs.

Still want to carry a tube, multitool and mini pump.  WOuld the 2 litre classic be big enough for this:  http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/camelbak-classic-2-0-litre-hydration-pack/rp-prod117289

Cheers,

Jason

Haven't specifically tried, but a friend has one and with a full reservoir there's really not much room.  Strap the pump to the frame and tools in a water bottle?

Had a similar one, not that great and moved way too much

Replaced with this which is 100 times better ( though costs more)

It depends how big your pump is but I have carried one by putting it in the hole on the other side to where the drinking tube emerges and fits to the camelbak strap . The tube and multi-tool will fit comfortably .

Yeah I did wonder if the pump could just go in with the bladder? Pump is quite small

Get the rogue  http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/camelbak-rogue-hydration-pack/rp-prod117298

It has space in the outer pocket for a pump and an elasticated loop to keep it in place. Don't have a pic of mine but I've carried a pump, banana, multitool, energy gels and with 2l of water it's barely noticeable.

The pump sits along one side, with the bottom going inside of the tool pocket, but still outside the main bladder pocket, through the buckles you see on the left and right.

They've changed the design slightly since I bought mine but it's basically the same, this is how the pump sits, I've never had it fall out.

Spare tubes in the side net pockets of the Rogue, pump in beside the bladder - I'm sure I've lost a pump by putting it in the side pocket, although having said that my Rogue is probably about 10 years old now. Tools, wallet, phone and keys in the pockets.
