I am away on Friday Uday for a short trip to Cornwall including some riding, should I replace my middle ring or run it all into the ground? Probs done 7000 miles (as has cassette, I am on 2nd chain), I may try a new chain/cassette if the jury is out!

Middle ring is looking pretty sharktoothed. If it’s not skipping/sucking and there are no other problems leave the drive train be.

Putting a new chain on that is asking for trouble, and the existing chain probably isn’t going to be best friends with a new cassette either.

After looking at your pic, I’d say if you’re changing anything then you’re looking at rings, cassette and chain all at once.

As above - I think if you change anything you'll be chasing round replacing the lot to get a smooth drivetrain again.

Granny ring looks good. That’s the one you’ll be needing. Leave as is.

Personally I'd just keep using it until you have skipping issues. It might not play nicely with a new chain though!
