I'm planning to go to Woburn after working in Luton today but it's chucking it down here.

It'll be fine, the rain has just laid the dust a bit!

Unless you are made of sugar, rain wont spoil Woburn. Its made of sand and pine needles, so unless you see Noah out with a chainsaw, you will be fine.

It's dry over the other side of MK at the moment. It did chuck it down at lunchtime so the trails up there should be nicely damped down.

Thanks. I normally wouldn't worry but we just had a biblical downpour here.

It rained just after 2pm in Woburn for a while - was heaviest I've seen in ages.

Now nice and sunny.

Did you get the hail as well Jase? It was so heavy over this way that Morrisons garage out near Furzton had a power cut.

I only rode on the Back woods side and the humidity from the evaporating rain was unbelievable - like the tropics.
The trails are pretty overgrown with ferns which let to some interesting moments.

I'm very local to the woods and I'm getting a bit bored of having to strip my bike after every ride! That sand gets everywhere.
