Im working in manchester and have bike in car, was thinking about stopping of at cannock on the way home to ludlow at 9 ish in the morning. Has the torrential downfall started yet?
Not yet but it will be biblical by 9am.
But as Cannock is made of sand and s upper round pebbles you'll be fine, just watch the first section by the visitors centre.... It's very skippy in the wet !

One look at the forcast this morning and i'm working from home rather than commuting past Cannock to the Office in rush hour.

At work now ( 8:15 am) on the north end of the chase - wet wet wet! But warm, and you'll realistically have the place to yourself!
