I have some old magura louise fr brakes and the front is 180mm IS mount, is it possible to get an adaptor to mount this to a modern post mount fork without going up in rotor size?

The world of adaptors is confusing the hell out of me. I just seem to find adaptors to go the other way.

Just looking at weight shedding options though if it can't be done I'll just keep my old recons.

Clee cycles sell the KCNC Post mount to IS brake adaptor that allows you to fit your 160mm brake without a need to increase rotor size. They also sell ones that allow you to go up by 20mm if that's what you want.

I fitted one to my PM forks to use my Hope 180mm front brake on a PM fork with no rotor size increase.
