We're off to CYB in October. Loved that cake stop, but it was closed last time.

when was the last time you went? Always been open when I've called in. Last time was early spring
Closed when i went last - Friday 12th Sept around 3pm.
Having been at CYB since sat 13th and biking everyday since - has only appeared to be open at weekend. Unless of course i always pass at the exact time it was closed.
This weekend just gone it was very busy - but the weather has been amazing!
It looked closed when I went past on Sunday. But that was at 9am.
Opens at 11 but not sure about weekdays
was open 2 Saturdays ago, packed too
Fella who owns it now is a rider - he was probably out for a blast!
I may head over this weekend - that place is a much needed stop on the Beast...
Did the couple who had it before sell it eventually then?
Was on the market for ages but I guess so. When I was there last November was the first time I'd bumped into the new owner but real nice guy - opened a touch early for me as he'd just got back from a ride himself and suggested a few options for me to miss out some crap bits and include more goodness.
Top notch cake and coffee still too...

I wouldn't count on it. As eluded to above, only open at weekends it seems.
