Just the title really. Thinking of going for a quick jaunt at the weekend with the six year old. It's between there and comrie (although comrie is twice as far)

It will entertain a 6 yr old.  There's red/blue/black* (green?) loops and a skills park.  Its not Comrie.  But unless the six year old is something very special you aren't going to blasting round the comrie black anyway.  Not sure where you are starting from but if Beecraigs was 40 mins each way and Comrie was 80 - then with a young kid I'd got to Beecraigs (cafe is OK, there a playpark etc too - so if they need something to break it up you can).  Once you've been, and unless the nipper is good enough for the skills park it might be a bit repetitive - but there are trails at Falkirk too so not that far away to get something different.

*black are just diversions off the red.

It has some nice stuff, a good afternoon...and if it is dry then all the rooty bits are all rideable with a bit of line choice.

I head up there 3 or 4 times a year with the club social ride - tends to get more kids and a responsible adult for them than the main club, but the kids seem to absolutely love it. The climbs are ok and the descents seem to run on long enough to have them thinking it is great fun.
