[Closed] Is a PUSH tune worthwhile?

I have new Pikes solo air 150mm and a Fox Float CTD BOOST valve kashima. I weigh just under 60kg so difficult to get it right in terms of air pressure to weight as I need to put hardly any in it and I'm towards the bottom of the recommended pressure limit. Bike feels a bit harsh at times.

Would a push tune be worthwhile? I'm off on Garda soon so want the bike to be as good as possible.

Have you tried the tokens in the air side of the pikes?

Had a CTD Pushed and its way better than my 5th Element coil (TF tuned/upgraded) ever was..

PUSHing is good for specific damping improvements, doesn't affect the spring though. They might be able to offset things to compromise, but it's something to pick up the phone and chat to them about

Don't forget you can still have a custom tune without going down the PUSH route.
J-Tech did mine for me. If your Fox fork is a 2013, they also have some aftermarket internals that may be better than PUSH.

Check the shock to see if it's fitted with a internal volume spacer in the aircan.

I don't think there's a push for the Pike? I used to have a push'd RP23 and it did make a pretty obvious difference, it was much smoother and quicker off the "top"- the standard shock tends to patter over things a bit, just that much less responsive. A diminishing returns thing though, pretty expensive.

I feel like maybe at our weight the Pike is a bit overdamped, I'm still fannying around with mine though. Tempted to try it with lighter oil, nice simple swapsies.

I've had afew things pushed and they have been very good but mostly because there were tuned to me
Ring a few people and see what they can offer you

Fairly sure it was the old Pike only that you could have pushed. Would contact Simon at Loco he should be able to help you.

AFAIK you can only get PUSH for Fox products these days.

I've been using the Pike 160mm for over 3 months now riding pretty much every day at Lake Garda. Amazing performance. I put 2 tokens in to stop the fork diving and it was a noticeable transformation in performance. I might even go to 3. I'm 85kg plus a very heavy (guides) rucksack.

Sack the rear shock off for a CCDB coil.

In the end you'll do what I did to my Fox shock, service, spacers, then consider a push but the reality is it's a shit shock and no end of messing and adjusting it can make it much better, a bit like polishing a turd.

Just stop the pain and get a Cane Creek Double Barrel coil and splash more cash on a titanium coil too.

You won't look back, you might be skint though.

I assume the issue is with the shock as Pikes rock!
