Its not an issue for me - have a couple of sets for 2 years & still fine, on a hardtail & 100mm FS.

Only if you're taking six foot drops to flat. General riding isn't a problem for me at 15 stone. Never had to true them.

I'm 15+ in my gear only had mine 3 weeks and they have been fine , rode Coed Y brenin 's the Beast on Monday battered through some of the rock sections and flung myself off some of the drops with no ill effects 😀

how/where/what do you ride is a more important question

As above - a 10st dirt jumper could probably trash them, but a 15st rider with no cojones for jumping or drop offs (like me!) Should be fine.

If my wheels weighed 14 stone, I'd be looking to change them, so yes.

I've run 355's (crest precursor) at 14st, no problem xc but did get a bit too excited on one ride and completely fubar'd the front. Flows on my bigger bike have been great for everything. They are not much heavier, doubt you would notice, and give that extra peace of mind. I replaced the 355 with a flow rather than faffing with crests.

Besides himself, nicko74 has also summed me up and the riding I use my Crests for. Saying that, they have done some Highland rides with some rocky singletrack - and they've been fine.

I'd also say it depends on the tyres you want to use, buying Crests to save a bit of weight and then stick 2.3+ tyres on is a bit dumb IMO, you're better off with Flows and getting a decent tyre profile. If you do just want them for XC tyre widths then go for it.

I'm 14st and they did a few runs down the WC course at Fort Bill recently in a respectable time.
Have knocked them about over the past year or so and they always true up niceley. They normally get a hammering at trail centers and Lakes, Peaks etc
I do tend to run them at normal rim tension though rather than the reccomended lower tension, not had any cracking issues in 2 years
