So I have a new set of Pike Ultimates to go on a new frame. I don't like the shiny silver decals fitted to them so have ordered a set from Invisiframe to match my frame. There are no fitting instructions with them and I can't find any on their website. So is it the same process as fitting the bike protection kits (lots of water and squeegee )or are they like stickers that you get one shot at. Any tips on fitting would be helpful to.

Just stickers. For placement, I drew a line round the old set with a water based paint pen, then placed the stickers in that. Start from one edge and take your time pressing down, pushing any bubbles out

Just stickers - don't use water with them. I just laid some masking tape alongside the old ones and used that as a guide. Easy to do. They've been on two years and still look good (better than the original rockshox stickers on my other bike after 1 year!).
I'd happily but then again if needed.

I had a custom set a few years ago and was quite easy to apply - I managed to line them up well enough. I did however put them under the protection tape, which isn’t what you’re supposed to do 🤦🏻‍♂️

I have had Slik ones in the past and they mark the centre line of the decal on the sheet before you peel it.

I stuck masking tape down the centre of the decal using the lines they marked on and then put masking tape on the centre of the fork leg.

All I had to do was line centre of decal masking tape to the tape on the fork leg, super simple!

Yep I used them for my Santa Cruz down tube decals. Floated them on with water the same as invisiframe film. Worked great and allowed me to reposition them.

I also put them under the invisiframe film to protect them from peeling/damage. Worked a treat.

Yep I got some Lyrik decals made up in silver. I’m pretty sure I floated them on with water - difficult to get the angle right with these ones just because Rockshox designed them to go on at an angle.

Fork originally started life as a Yari but now has full Lyrik spec - charger 2 rct3 / Debonair Airshaft / SKF seals. Also got them sprayed red to look ace on my raw bike with red highlights.

Use masking tape to outline portions of the old decal.
Peel them off with hair dryer.
DON'T hairdry new stickers until they are in place!
Lay new stickers in place.
Hairdry smooth.
Don't worry if it's not 100% perfect... you'll mess it up more trying to get perfection..
