the newest entry in the Saxon collection:

Yes, I know about the state of the garden. It’s quite literally a work in progress. In the meantime, the bike is a Fuji Cross 1.7.

The colour may not be to everyone’s taste, but when you only live for a short time on this earth, why be tentative? 😉

In any case, this brings to an end the most recent bike theft saga, and leaves me with a bike I really like, for £500 less than its current retail price.

Hey molgrips. Yes, it replaces the stolen one. It shipped with 33s but can take up to 38.

Unlike it’s predecessor, this one is an actual CX with proper CX geometry, and a raised BB. I just took it out for a spin, and it was fantastic. Much better than what it replaced.

It's certainly.....

Distinctive

... Visible from space

You won't lose it if it is foggy...

Seriously though, looks rad, hope you enjoy it

Is this the one with the brace between the chainstays? If it is you’ll probably want to limit the tyre size

That’s the one, @legend. The spec says 35, but it really does look like 38 will fit. That said, I’ll take your advice.

Not doubting it’ll fit, it’s mud (and grass if proper CX) clearance I’m thinking of

The colour may not be to everyone’s taste

You are correct about that. I like the bike, just think how cool it would be if it was red, or black, or blue, or not yellow.
