You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I bought a pinnacle iroko frame last year which I love. Now trying to fit an internal dropper but never tried this before so don't really know where to start.
There are obviously holes pre drilled in the frame but no guides so I presume just run full length outer (it's a KS dropper)? Any magical way to get the cable through? Take the BB out to do this?
Probably really dumb, YouTube tutorials I found tend to skip this bit and say "follow your manufacturers instructions" for the internal routing bits.
Any help / tips appreciated
Gear cable taped to end of outer and thread the inner through and pull the outer behind. The inner is more flexible and easier to get through the frame holes.
I've read on here of using a hoover to suck a thread or fine string through. Though I don't know if it will help you.
Ah ok, just asked a friend and they suggested inner to get through with magnets or string and Hoover and to use either as a guide for the outer.
Thanks v much for the replies. Will have a go this week!
