Got some new brakes to fit to the fatty. The frame has internal routing for the rear brake. Any tips on fitting the hoses or am I heading to frustrationville?

Time, patience. It's not a hard job usually, but fiddly.
Can you tape the end to the cable coming out?

Get an M3 bolt, cut the head off and join the new hose to the old. Pull old hose out and it will pull the new one in.
This only works if you are happy to sacrifice the old hose as you’ll have to cut it off at the caliper end.
