I'd expect it to develop flat spots easily, it has so little depth to it.

Looks like a good idea. Will have to wait and see how it deals with dinged rims, though.
I have dents in my wheels deeper than that rim height!

Its width probably makes it look shallower then it actually is. Worth keeping an eye on I think.

12mm deep according to the spec. While there's be a lot of air/rubber cushioning it, "accidents will happen"...

It is a Fatbike rim so should be well cushioned.
