Just back from a weekend at Afan and Cwm Carn - Afan trails (W2) were awesome. Cheers to Nobby for organising and Stan, Windy Stephen and GoPro Nathan for the company. Good riding, good laughs, good beer and good food - doesn't get much better than that...

🙂

Detour was a bit of a b*gger but the final descent made up for it! Closures can't be helped if caused by by circumstances beyond peoples control - just be thankful for all the great trails you can still use...

I was there a couple of weeks ago. The trails were like streams. Did the W2 and had a blast. So what if some sections are closed? Make the most of it!

Skyline is fully open now, mix that in with W2 and it's a great little ride.

To be fair I was being grumpy. It was a 4hr drive to get there and it was average at best so that is why I didn't enjoy it. I suppose it would be fun if I was an hour away.

Fair do's, each to his own... Just all those rocks make a nice change from Bedforshire clay 🙂

Have they re-opened the Penhydd trail?

Didn't enjoy the other trails that much TBH, but each to their own. 😐

Completely open? The July news thing said theres diversions on the airsrip just before Rhondda. Is that all ok now?

Anyone else done it?
