I have an inclusive travel policy from tesco bank but they specifically exclude mountain biking of any sort.

I was after recommendations for an Insurer to cover Morzine riding, not big gaps or hucking to flat, no gnar but a bit of schralping, maybe.

Never know what companies like til you have to claim but currently insured on an annual policy with insure n go.   I paided   £96 plus £20 for hazardous activities

Used snowcard in past as well but never had to claim

I know that Yellow Jersey were first class in sorting someone out in South America after a crash.

A very standard answer for any active holiday is World Nomads.

Always used snowcard and a mate of mine had to claim once for lost luggage/bikes and they were very good

Had dogtag which covered mtbing but we've now got an annual family policy with the BMC (climbing people). It's by far the most comprehensive and the annual cover +  it via-ferrata and skiing in winter made it good value.

+1 for dogtag (with EHIC). Other half had a bad crash in the trans Savoie a few years back and they were very good at covering all trip and medical costs.

Snowcard rather than Dogtag. Had Dogtag previously but they changed their policy wording a couple of years ago that pretty much precludes you getting private treatment, which is all you can get in Morzine without going a fair way away. Snowcard on the other hand sorted my mate out perfectly when he broke his leg in Morzine a few years ago. Treated at the nearest facility and did a great job including booking a whole row for him on the plane home.
