With the Mega approaching fast i am getting my final bits and bobs together.
I need to sort travel insurance to cover me for the event.
Having had a look at the usual suspects, it appears that Dogtag aren't currently taking on new business.
Snowcover 'aren't covering downhill races at this time'.
I am waiting to hear back from Yellow Jersey.
Any others I should be looking at that will cover me?
We are driving, so I don't need cover for my equipment etc, I just need to know if the worst happens, someone will scrape me off the mountain and get me home without it costs me thousands.
Any help is appreciated!
I used sportscover direct the last few times, bit cheaper and a bit better cover than Dogtag when I looked
@chrishc777 - great stuff, thanks for the recommendation.
just to update this for anyone in the same boat....
Dog Tag - not currently offering insurance.
Snowcard - ‘aren’t covering downhill races at this time’.
Sportscover Direct - 'Unfortunately our underwriters do not cover for this, as we do not offer an insurance policy which will include mountain biking on snow.'
Yellow Jersey - Do cover the Mega. So thats who i have taken a policy out with.
