Hi, I've been meaning to sell an old bike and 2 frames and loads of parts for years now, but it's all still stuck in garage, its probably not worth a great deal, but I just haven't got round to selling them. Under current lockdown this probably isn't the best times to do this, but got a little more time at present to sort things out.

So instead of selling, I was wondering if these would be of use to anyone on here or to someone that you know who could benefit from some free kit? Ideally I'd like it to go to help someone out who needs it, not just to someone being tight and getting free kit for the sake of it.

Its mainly old and well worn, but still useable, especially if it helps to get somebody out riding!

Anyway, got an old Sun Solo road bike built up as a fixie/singlespeed flat bar road bike. Same frame as link, but cobbled together with bits I had lying around.

A Ribble Audax winter road frame, carbon forks and carbon seatpost, like in the this link:
https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/road-bikes/ribble-7005-winter-review/

And a 26" wheel Kinesis Maxlight 20" XC frame with Rockshox Pilot air forks and a titec seatpost.

I've also got a whole load of old parts, bars, stem, brake levers, some wheels etc to help build the frames up. So should just need groupset and a few other bits to get them built into a complete bikes.

I can get the frame sizes if there is interest in them, they are just hidden in the garage at moment. But as a guide I'm 6'1 and they fit me. I can also get pictures if I can work out how to attach them!

Mods, sorry if this should have gone into classifieds.

I'm in no rush to get rid, so can wait for this pandemic to clear if necessary.

There are a number of charities that might like them. Bristol bike project for example.

Loads of bike recycling places will snap your hands off - gave a load of good quality old components to the Derby one a couple of years ago, they had builds waiting for some of it

New forest bike recycling project if anyone’s near the new forest. They are in new Milton now and a great project to support.

Cheers for the responses. There is a local re-cycle type place near me. Will take them there when travel restrictions are relaxed.

Anyone know of anything in Hertfordshire.

I have a load of stuff that’s in good shape but little value (26inch wheels).

I’ve been hoarding for ages with the intention of giving it to a charity or something.
