Help, I just cannot get this expanded split glide ring back in on the rebound damper piston head.
The spit ring just gets caught up on the internal lip, no matter how I try and I am trying opposite the split first.

Really don't know why. First "new" fork to have this "extra" feature. I think the older ones were rubber and foam.
Any suggestions?
