I'm installing an M785 crankset (i.e. bog standard hollowtech 2) in a BB92 bottom bracket on my new Whippet (BB already fitted) - how many, if any, spacers should I be using? I can't find an up to date guide on Parktool or similar so STW hive-mind it is 😉

HT2 + BB92 on a Zesty you don't use any but no idea if that's applicable across the board. I've never seen any mention of spacers with a push fit BB though.

I guess you're aware of the probes people have had with the inner ring of a triple rubbing on the BB shell on the whippet? i.e.;

Hi Greedy! Have you tried just tried fitting the cranks without any? You don't seem to need any on all the tech docs I've looked at 🙂

It's a double so shouldn't have any clearance issues (touch wood). On close inspection it looked like it should be alright without spacers, so I went ahead and fitted it. Mike, it was the lack of tech docs (on a cursory Google) that worried me - it seems fine though.
