Right. The missus is away with the kids and I have three whole days available, but as usual in these rare circumstances nobody to do it wit and no idea where to go.
Got my chunky new bike so was considering four passes in the lakes or perhaps HS,H&S if I'm feeling fit. And maybe another go at the passes near garburn, whatever they're called.
Was also considering Wales but don't really know any routes other than centres or Snowdon.
The kids are normally up for mbr/ red bull/ dragons back type stuff, but not usually so keen on proper tough hikeabikes so it seems sensible to do something more difficult than usual to make the most of it.
Any suggestions in Wales or even the peak district? Doctors into cut gate seems like an option, but apart from that I know sod all routes in the peak that "need" a big bike.
