Anybody been out this morning? Obviously it'll be wet but are there many trees down, is it worth going?
Saw Street Pigeon commenting that loads of trees down around Falla Brae.
Would it be worth opening the title of the thread up to include all trail damage reporting from Storm Babet?
Many areas have been hit that would be of interest,
TRAIl ACCESS ALERT : Bridge gone at A9
Inver underpass. For riders wanting to access Craigvinean / Hermitage from Dunkeld the best and safest way is via Train station underpass, Birnam Glen, Rumbling Bridge. But not advisable today.
Wow, that's a bad un.
Tweed valley didn't get it too bad apparently- it was only a Some Bins Blown Over Alert here in Penicuik, we didn't even have to raise it to OMG TRAMPOLINE TRAMPOLINE level, and it wasn't too wet. Haven't been down myself but apparently innerleithen dh side got some light windblow and branches but little real disruption. Lower golfie much the same.
Remember folks trail inspections at the FC venues take time so the official pages will be a bit useless for the moment. OT for the thread but apparently Kirroughtree very beat up and also problems on the roads.
That's pretty much what I've heard elsewhere. I went out for a walk just before lunch when it was still raining, heavy drizzle really. Was surprised our local river wasn't higher but I'm guessing most of our rain has been fairly light.
Been at the inners uplift today and it was surprisingly good. Still got clarty but was a great day out, son said it was his best uplift day ever.Â
There's a tree down on 39 steps but that seems to be it.Â
