10am : The consultant said my leg was sufficiently fused to allow gentle cycling, swimming and walking.

11am : Leave the bike shop with a brand new bike

4:30pm : Probably the earliest I can sneak out of work

Who wants to guess how long before I get my next cycling injury?

Electric bike? I'm guessing this is a bluff, you hopped on to ride the new bike around to the shed, were surprised by the raw power and crashed into the door 🙂

I'm just surprised you didn't injure yourself putting it into the car. So far so good.

I like the way you work. It took me 45 minutes to get home after the consultant said I was OK to weight bear on my busted hip and after about 45 minutes and 30 seconds I was on the motorbike for the first time in 6 months. Enjoy it!

How come that brand new bike has dirty wheels? Did you have a spin before the photo was taken?

You'll drop it wheeling it out of the shed and break your other leg.

38 mins after purchase: electrocution from home-made charging point.

PS have a look here if you get stuck out and about:

🙁

Just fitted a new wall anchor and managed to cut a small notch out of my finder with the hammer drill.

Lifts e bike onto wall hanger and gives himself a hernia. Bike slowly slips off hanger and decapitates him as he lays on garage floor....sorry 😯

I like what they've done with the graphics. Interrupting the silhouette hides the bulk of the battery.

Not saying that it isn't nasty, just that it's effective!

I reckon the injury will involve riding into a real stake.
