Just come back from staying with family in Spain. When they moved in, the previous occupant had left this beautiful Sbike behind. It's a 523 but I can out very little else about it or indeed Sbikes.

I love the frame design, and after slopping around the UK on an over the top enduro bike, this rigid beauty coupled with dusty trails was a right treat!

Anyone with any knowledge?

www.retrobike.co.uk is your friend - several owners on there (usually the single tube variants) and they come up for sale fairly regularly

Agree, I think that's a Saracen killi flyer.

Defo not a Saracen, the e-stay design is wrong. Also agree that it doesn’t look like a S-Bike. Plenty of people used that style of frame back around 1989/92 but the low rent groupset suggests Carrera or the like.

Retrobike is your friend.

Thanks for replies. I found a whole Sbike thread on the Retro forum and have posted on there.

The frame is certainly different from the arrow-head design of a lot of the other Sbike's i've seen, so I'm thinking it's a later model. But with shimano kit, steel frame and Swiss flag decal, it can't be a rebranded Saracen or Carrera (which after my Spanish trip, I know means 'race').

"Beautiful" is not the word that comes to my mind.
