Trying to find an old V'braked 16" Inbred frame to use up some spares but want to know max tyre size
i.e. "26 X what" would I be able to get in the back.
Or name another frame I could get 26 x 2.3's or more in, I have an old Kona but can't get 2.0's in without chainstay rub.

2.25 nobby nics fit easily in mine, I suspect 2.4 would be pushing it but fine.

I used to run a 2.25 Ardent, which is very tall for a 2.25 without issues.
To quote the on-one website: "26" x 2.5 tyres will just about fit, but we recommend 2.0 – 2.3"" for best performance".

I seem to remember the wire above V-brakes being the limiting factor, not the chainstays. I have run 24x3.0in in there once... http://twitpic.com/8guugl/full
