Got an inbred frame recently to build up a bike for BF Jr. Any body got a decent picture of the best way to route the cables (2xgear and rear brake). Every route I've tried looks/feels odd.
All help appreciated......

I'll photograph mine later for you..
Is it round the bars/head tube area you're having problems with?

I think I did this.

Rear brake cable gets zip tied onto those pad things all the way down the non drive side.

Front gear cable goes through all the middle guides and then terminates in the seat tube cable stop

Rear gear cable goes through all the drive side guides.

So basically all cables going directly into the top tube and not wrapping over the head tube.

Yes ...exactly this

So basically all cables going directly into the top tube and not wrapping over the head tube.

This is what I thought it must do after a lot of faffing around...
So rear brake hose goes directly onto top tube without going round head tube as well?

I'll email shots of mine now I've done them
As you'll see the left hand brake/shifter go to the left of the head tube (if your sitting on the bike) and the right to the RHS
However now I look at mine again I realise it's a bit of a mess!

I think I did my cables the opposite way. Rear brake down the NDS, front mech around the headtube and down the DS, Rear mech around the headtube, down the middle of the top tube then exit on DS down the seatstay.

Sorry can't send shots of mine as it is currently 10,000km away but I think I didn't have anything going round the headtube including the rear brake. I do remember spending a few minutes thinking about it before settling on a tidy layout.
