Half considering replacing my 853 Inbred with something more playaboutish slackish kinda thing which would leave me the Inbred to build up either -

69er, I already have some steel 440 26" forks which would be perfect for this I think

Half Fat, with the biggest rear tyre in it I could get aswell. I'd need a fat fork. Would this actually be any use in snow and stuff as the back is still skinny?

Or just pop the steel forks on and a 2.6 x 26" at the front and have it normal rigid.

Any thoughts or experiences?

My Inbred 1/2 fat will be up and running as soon as my front wheel arrives, which will have a 3.7 Larry fitted and Pugsley forks.

I've managed to squeeze in a 2.8 Michelin at the back which will actually make it nearer a 3/4 fat 😀

Alternatively you could go for a 24" rear with a Gazza 3.0 or similar and have your rigid front 26" with an equally fat tyre and keep your geometry right.

By pure coincidence I will be selling a 24" rear wheel with 3.0 tyre shortly 😉
