You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I must have had an off day Friday before last; I had four offs on an otherwise very enjoyable ride, and there have been consequences:
-Helmet: write off
-Front tyre: write off
-Rib: broken
-Boa ratchet disc: snapped off
My body and wallet are aching at the first three, but Boa have brightened my day!
Upload a photo of the damage on their website and fill in your details. No questions re. how old the shoes are or how it was done. No asking for postage costs.
A full set (left and right) arrived from Germany today. Back to operational in five minutes. Wish I could say the same about me.
Anyway, Boa, recommended!! 👍
what! how did I not know about this? spent a tidy sum buying new ratchets last yr.
Their warranty reputation is about the best there is. Never had to use it myself, but it's one very good reason to buy Boa shoes!
BOA have just sent me replacement dials for my 5 yo Defrosters. Again, photo sent, no questions asked. Amazing service.
Amazing product too. My son has cerebral palsy so laces are a non starter. Velcro loses its grip after a while but with BOA on his latest boots he can put them on himself. The boost for his self esteem is priceless.
This is why is you buy shoes with a dial ratchet you should always spend the extra to get boa dials.
As above I've had excellent service from them.

That's AWESOME!
Same here, lifetime warranty. However, once you replace them, you realise the importance of pulling the laces equally from each side of the ratchet, some shoe designs pull unevenly and cause tangles.
there was a thread a while back Where someone was having a proper whinge about how shit their Boa shoes were (an experience backed up by precisely no-one).This is why is you buy shoes with a dial ratchet you should always spend the extra to get boa dials.
Turned out of course that the particular shoe brand in question didn’t even use Boa but their own (crap) generic copy!

It was Ton complaining about them. They only lasted a few rides.
Excellent, one of mine died the other day.
Will try this out.
