Had my Solarstorm since February and lately the performance has started getting a bit short, even a 30 minute ride saw the battery go to 1 bar by the end on a low setting.
I was about to order a new one but thought I'd try something different and just gave the plug on the light a little squeeze with a pair of pliers..
Lo and behold the light duration went up to a couple of hours. Obviously the connector is getting dirty. No contact cleaner to hand so I think I'll just order some new decent connectors.
It may be worth a try if your battery performance has dropped.

Can anyone advise the best place to get one at the moment? I am fed up with swapping lights and want to get another.

Does anyone have a link for the puresystems site?

Also, potentially daft question... Do you charge the cells in the box with a charger? Or individually using a battery charger?

Cheers

Just email Sam at puresystems he is very quick to reply

Puresystems@yahoo.co.uk

He sells a charger for a tenner to charge the cells separately.

They have new stock, mine took a week.

The new one has a usb cable that allows you to charge directly from PC/Laptop etc, it also has a charge indicator, not sure if the old had one?

Yes I got mine from sam at PS too, I also got the 4 battey charger, wich apparently looks after the batteries better and I safer, though I expect an exploding cell in the case would not be too bad.

Same as this http://r.ebay.com/TPGw8M

Any experience of what the 18650 cells from Kaidomain are like - & which ones did you go for?
