A shop in Indonesia has quoted me 'US$2260 Price Included TAX Insurance,Customs and Shipping Cost' to my home address.
Simply Duty import calculator tells me;
£21 duty
£352 VAT
£2114 total cost.
Is there any other cost missing from the above?

Duty calc is well off.
Some good bikes made there, plus a large a chain of shops owned by same company as the factory making Marin and Polygon.
We actually had a couple of Indonesian groups out in Whistler with us. They had disposable $ and they all rode really nice bikes and were actually all surprisingly competent.
It's a growing sport out that way.
To work out the duty you need to look up the tariff of goods and find the commodity code. Bike parts may be a different code (And therefore duty) than a complete bike.
And then you need to add on the handling charge by the courier for paying your duty before you reimburse them when you take delivery.
The choice is do it the legal way, or try to smuggle it into the UK.
But getting an import agent to sort things out can help.

Legit and smuggling are the same thing in Indonesia aren’t they. Just depends whose taking your $. I closed down the main train station in Jakarta when I walked to the front of a very large queue and waved $20 about. Headman closed everything whilst we had coffee and smokes whilst a lackey sorted out all the tickets. Was about 20 years ago though. Fantastic country though.

Admin fees of the carrier.... Usually start at around £15. Try to get the shop to ship with a duty prepaid carrier, it'll ultimately work out cheaper than not.
Obviously buy with a credit card and not a bank transfer.
