Just finished new build after my 2006 fuel EX carbon frame fail. New frame imported from China - 3K weave, 1.2kg. It handles and climbs really well. Anyone else got any experience of these frames?

I had one, it was good, although the top tube was on the short side.

Was fine on FODCA train in the Forest of Dean - turns extremely quickly and is not too harsh over stones.

Oh dear 🙁 ...I'm pretty certain GJP's post was tongue-in-cheek

:edit: ...and mysteriously the bad words disappeared 😉

We like pics of bikes, we like pics of carbon weave...as others have said, it would just be nice to see some pics 😀

Looks nice for the cash ... I was looking at the newer version (the fm016)

Did you get stung for import costs??

No import costs - frame was £170 with £35 shipping.

Its taken me years to get those fence panels that colour - can't buy "neglected grey" from B+Q

I have one of these eBay 3K carbon frames, they are brilliant value for money. With a few carefully chosen parts the bike weights in at just under 8.5kg. 😀

I've been hammering it for half a year or so now and it can seemingly take all the abuse I can throw at it. The only thing that's not quite right for me, as njee20 pointed out, is that the top tube is a little short. That said, I would buy another one without hesitation.
