[Closed] Implications on UK MTB from UK Brexit from EU

Many of you may have noticed that many of our trial centres have this blue flag with gold stars on, indicating that the European Union has put additional funding into them.

This is particular true of high deprived areas such as the welsh valleys where the MTB centre acts as a regeneration hub to spur tourism investment into the area (the trial is free but we pay for the B&B, pub meal etc).

So what would the implications of a 'Brexit' from the EU be on UK MTB?

Many STWers emigrate to a better country with open access laws for the trails.

Scotland will welcome them.

I guess we would have to pull up all the trails and hand them back to the EU when we leave, reinstating the forest that was there before

Probably!
