Rather like gravel/adventure bikes, there's a significant proportion of the user base who think they're not doing it right if they haven't strapped/bolted on every accessory known to man.

Not my bike and I'm by no means a fat bike evangelist. ..just thought the message was rather good as not all riders are obsessed with performance .
There was no mention of other bikes not being great ..I ride allsorts .Seems to ruffle feathers ..but why I don't know.

Yes agreed ..the bike is undoubtedly overloaded in the wrong places but if you were on a world tour I guess?
