Charlie Rolls hitting the streets of Portsmouth. Just stupendous.
I honestly don’t know how these guys do it (and that’s an understatement...).
I mean, I used to be a motorcycle trials rider, however at least there we have engines for drive and impulsion but it just beggars belief what is possible on a bicycle.
Just the fitness and strength alone, never mind all the rest of it.
It really is incredible, no matter how many times I see stuff like this.
He's rather handy then. 👏
I still prefer the creativity of moves that the MTB trials guys have.
That is some rather impressive riding. Cheers!
Bikes look horrible.
It's more like parkour.

Yeah I used to too, then I decided to learn trials for myself. Here it's not so much about tricks which take hundreds of tries to pull off, he's a competition rider so it's almost the opposite, because you can't take hundreds of tries in a competition. Just look at his composure as he flows about the place, and the precision, the lack of corrective hops etc. He is also a really creative rider, it's just the type of creativity that's not so obvious.
If nothing else I enjoyed the nostalgia of recognising random spots around Pompey. Pretty sure a french guy I worked with broke his bike riding down the set of steps at about three and a half minutes on my birthday pub crawl.
I couldn’t do that without a bike never mind on a bike
Unbelievable balance and skill but I still prefer watching Danny Mac vids because the bikes are basically what we ride. Those trial bikes almost look like a cheat. Saying that he is enormously talented. Who looks at a post box and thinks 'I'll bunnyhop onto that' ?!
Impressive stuff and a core of solid steel no doubt.
I enjoyed that. Impressive stuff.

So do 29er's 😉 Let's not mention e-bikes.
Yep, that was awesome. 20 inch always looks weirder and more awkward than 24 but the power and accuracy in some of that was outrageous. I don't know the right name for it, but those big lunging gaps onto the front wheel to pretty much dead stops, jeezo, everything has to be perfect.
Bikes look horrible.
Right tool for the job.
