Supposing your me, you ride trail centres round wales, local woods, occasional trip to the peaks & the lakes.

Get a buzz from going down hill more than up but really enjoy the bits in between.

Also liking messing about on/in bomb holes doing drops (nowt bigger than 3ft so far) and larking about.

And you've got a 130mm (Rev U-Turn) forked Handjob and a Specialized Pitch, really quite heavily upgraded.

What would you do?

Handjob sounds great, I'd keep that. Guess my Soul is similar - I ride that everywhere you mention, and love it.

Ask yourself which one you are going to use for the Singletrack weekender! Sorted!

I'd get one that was "light enough for the climbs yet burly enough for the downhills". I haven't found it yet.

actually I think davey_clayton hit's the nail on the head there isn't the do it all bike, there will be a comprise of some sort.

But there is a clue in the OP's as to where that compromise for him would be.

i thought my turner 5 spot was the best do it all bike ive had but i went out the other day on my new on-one 456 and that was great too 😉 so glad i have both lol

i think in all honesty if i had to keep only one bike it would be my surly cross check as i can do a bit of everything on it

Bizzarley this isn't a "tell me what you ride/what you want to ride" thread.

It's a simple question of the two bikes mentioned

but that would involve me supposing im you and i dont fancy that im afraid 😉

depends on how the pitch climbs i guess. i think id strip the best bits off the bikes and build up the handjob with the best bits and flog the pitch

then again id keep the pitch 😉

no no id have them both

So Steve which would you keep as the "one" bike?

The Handjob. Without question.

One bike out of those 2? - Handjob

What would I personally do? - Sell the Pitch and the Handjob frame, get a Hummer and use the bits from the Handjob on that - sorted 8)

Pitch with adjustable travel/lockout forks. Sounds exactly the sort of riding I like - my Tazer is perfect and is now my only bike. I've tried a couple of times to go back to a hardtail but you can't beat a bit of travel on the d/hs.

Always thought my 04 SWorks Enduro was the best bike for me.
Then I lashed this up...

...and now I'm not so sure.
🙂

I think you need another bike.
