What warranty will it have?
Will the post prove to be somewhat reliable or do they generally not work?
(people who insist on sitting down whilst monster trucking over bumps who never bother with maintenance need not reply, i dont really expect any dropper post to endure that kind of treatment)
i950 is very similiar to my venerable i900, which took a wee bit of work to get going but has been bang on for 2 years of relentless scotland, with no more servicing than an occasional clean and lube. So, I've just bought a cheap i950 from them to go on the big bike.
Your warranty will be with Superstar, so is unaffected by the change of distributor- and they say they have a stock of spares as well. It might make warranty work a bit less smooth but then the idea is not to have to use the warranty anyway 😉
Have to say, I wasn't overjoyed with Superstar's handling of my last warranty claim with them, but a little perseverance and we got to the right result, it just took longer than it should have.
