Looking at a new Whip for my lad and found a Mettle at a decent price but can't find many real world reviews about, I was just wondering if anyone has got one... Or had one and how they found it? Thanks in advance.

Yes.... The full bounce one. Plenty of magazine reviews but no real world reviews about. It looks heavy.
From my experience of Identiti bikes (owned a couple, but not this one) they make bombproof, but slightly porky frames.
I suspect the extra weight adds to the bombproofness!

I'm a real person, so I don't know how this differs from a real world review, and no-one from Identiti or Singletrack put any pressure on me as to what to write. If I was to write it again tomorrow, I'd probably write similar.
Anyway, long story short - it's a great bike and I enjoyed riding it. The frame was bomb proof - it was mostly the components I had issue with.
