A stunning Anderson 953 custom. Not seen all the kit for except the hand made custom saddle and Chris King hubs. Not gonna leave that outside the offy.

Not sure, though I don't think weight was much of an issue with the build. What do stainless frames come up like weight wise?

I saw that on Bikeradar. It's a stunner. Because the stem is such an eye catching feature, it does look much better in the inverted position (as per second snap).

crimson - it's the same way up in both pics I think?

OP - no idea re weight which is why I asked. It won't compete with alu/carbon and my guess the only real benefit over 853 will be the chrome effect?

That should be displayed in an art gallery.

That won't take a 140mm fork

Looks ridiculous to me with the mix of colours and metal, especially around the headtube. Lose the green entirely, or do it all green with just the highlights, and it'd be nice. Apart from the stem, it'd still be ridiculous.

Am I allowed to say I don't like it?

That stem is utterly gopping and, whilst I love that shade of green, it is well out of place alongside the stainless and graphics.
Would be lovely in 'old french van' type blue with a sensible stem IMO...

Agree with Northwind not a fan.

Colour scheme is horrible. Geometry looks odd (could be the angle) and personally I'd have proper downtube shifter bosses.

But the only person who has to like it is the person who's bought it.

Don't like.

Looks like it was designed by several different people....

....in different offices with no form of communication available.

Not a fan of the 'new retro' kinda frames at all.

Very 'Vulpine' Green, which I do like tho..

Whoever owns that will have to be careful with the front brake...

Oh and if that's been chrome plated in the UK good luck with that!

I saw the build thread for this over on Bikeradar, it is a lovely bike although the green colour is not to my liking i do like the lug work, the colour scheme on this one is much more tastefull imo

Wow, looks rediculous, but great.

That Rourke looks pretty boring.

Off the BR forum again, this one tops them both I think

The Feather is how I like a bike. Understated and subtle, some may say boring but I say class.

Feather will still be riding by your 50th. DH bike probably won't.

That feathers owned by a bloke in my office. The front triangle is 853 and the rear 953. He brought it in to the office but I didn't get a chance to get a ride on it, must get him to bring it in again.

He's come out on a mountain bike a few times with us, quick up hill but terrified down hill (in his own words!)

Simon? (lives in Putney works near bank/Liverpool st?) he's a plodder uphill when out on a club ride and never buys anyone a coffee either. 🙄
i guess every roadie is fast compared to your average mtb'er

That's him, faster than me buts that not saying much! I'll tell him his club are unimpressed with his coffee buying habits.

what is it with monochrome handbuilt bikes ???? the entire colour pallette and all you want is white and black everything! looks like my dolan...

I'm not necessarily a fan of the orange and pale green but it's had a right load of attention to detail (go on the bikeradar site and look at the bartape and saddle)

My heart always sinks a bit when people say "oh, black is fine" when I ask about colour.

The traditional touring frame I'm taking to the powdercoaters tomorrow is getting done in British Racing Green. Now that's a proper colour for a bike.
